Privacy Policy

TCH Massage (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates https://tchmassage.ca. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and your choices. Canadian requirements that may apply include the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act, and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) for covered commercial messages.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to serve you.

  • Information you give us through our contact form: name, phone, email, service needed and message.
  • Information collected automatically: basic server logs and your IP address.
  • Usage data collected through Vercel Web Analytics, including a temporary pseudonymous visitor identifier and request-derived location and device information. See “Cookies and analytics” below.

We do not collect payment details through this website.

2. Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiries and provide quotes, to deliver and improve our services, to contact you about your request, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not use it for unrelated purposes without your consent.

3. Consent

When you submit a request, we use the information to receive, protect, and respond to that request. Optional uses require the separate choices presented for those uses. You may withdraw consent where applicable by contacting us (see “Contact us” below), though this may affect our ability to provide the requested service.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics for limited aggregate website measurement. It does not use cookies. The service derives limited request information as described by Vercel; contact us about the choices available on this site.

5. Sharing and disclosure

  • Vercel: hosts this website and its contact form service, and counts page visits.
  • Supabase: stores the enquiries sent through the contact form.
  • Google: keeps our private enquiry spreadsheet.
  • Resend: delivers the email that tells us about each enquiry.

6. How we protect it

We protect personal information with reasonable physical, organizational, and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Retention: website enquiries are kept for 12 months, then deleted.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Third-party links

Our site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.

9. Booking appointments

Appointments are booked directly with your therapist through their own booking service (GoRendezvous, Jane App or Noterro) or by text message. Anything you enter there is handled by that service and by your therapist under their own privacy practices, not through this website.

The contact form asks only for the details listed above.

10. Children’s privacy

Our site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Data across borders

Service-provider processing may occur in: United States, Canada. Information processed there may be subject to the laws of those places.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version, and we will post any material changes here.
